Justin Chambers, the actor who portrayed Dr. Alex Karev in the hit series “Grey’s Anatomy,” remains a fan favorite. First appearing on screens 20 years ago, he’s undergone a transformation that many say is for the better.

Recently, a new photo of him surfaced on TikTok, where despite his gray hair, fans commented on how great he looks. “He was cute as a young guy, but now he’s a real heartthrob,” “Aging like fine wine,” and “What a handsome man,” wrote some admirers.

Alex Karev was a beloved character in the series, evolving from a brash intern to the head of surgery, going through personal struggles, family issues, and eventually becoming a loving husband. Many were shocked when Justin decided to leave the show in 2020.

“There’s no good time to say goodbye to a show and character that has defined much of my life for the past 15 years. For some time now, I’ve hoped to diversify my acting roles and career choices. And, as I turn 50, blessed with my supportive wife and five wonderful children, I feel that now is that time,” Chambers told Deadline.

Justin has been married to Keisha since 1993, and together they have five children: Isabella, twins Maya and Kaila, Eva, and Jackson. In January 2008, he revealed he had been struggling with a sleep disorder, getting only two hours of sleep per week, but has since successfully managed it.
