Celine Dion is grappling with a rare disease. Now, after nearly four years, she has made a public appearance

Having been forced to halt her ongoing tour due to the rare and incurable Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS), Celine Dion is now giving hope to her fans as she appears to be on the path to recovery. After an absence of almost four years, the 55-year-old singer made a public appearance.

She attended an NHL ice hockey game between her adopted home team, the Vegas Golden Knights, and her hometown team, the Montreal Canadiens. Accompanied by her sons Rene-Charles (22) and twins Eddy and Nelson (13), the singer visited the visitors’ team locker room and posed for pictures.

“What a beautiful visit,” exclaimed Chantal Machabee, Vice President of the Canadiens, as she shared photos of the visit on Instagram, fittingly captioned with references to Dion’s hit, ‘I Am Alive.'”

“What a beautiful visit. Thank you, Celine. The entire team is so happy to have met you and your family!” exclaimed Chantal Machabee.

The singer herself also shared some photos on her Instagram account, revealing that she and her sons had “so much fun” visiting the Montreal Canadiens team. She added, “It was unforgettable for all of us!”
