A moving memorial service for Charlie Kirk gathered nearly 90,000 believers in Glendale, Arizona, as worship leaders and Christian artists pointed hearts toward the promises of Jesus Christ.

A Worship Service Filled With Hope

On September 21, 2025, State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, was filled with thousands who came to honor Charlie Kirk, the 31-year-old conservative activist and founder of Turning Point USA, who tragically lost his life on September 10 while addressing students at Utah Valley University.

Before the official tributes from family and close friends, the service opened with an unforgettable time of worship. Leading the crowd were some of the biggest names in Christian music: Phil Wickham, Brandon Lake, Chris Tomlin, Cody Carnes, Kari Jobe, and Tiffany Hudson of Elevation Worship. Together, they set the tone by lifting up the name of Jesus and declaring His victory over sin and death.

Between songs, Phil Wickham reminded attendees of the eternal hope believers hold in Christ, quoting John 16:33:
“In this world you will experience tribulation, but take heart, I have overcome the world.”
