Brad Pitt, 60, Finds New Love After Heartbreaking Divorce – Meet His Joyful Girlfriend
|At one time, Brad Pitt was widely regarded as one of the most eligible bachelors on Earth. However, those days are no more.
Fans have been aware of his romance with Ines de Ramon for some time now, and the couple reportedly planned to celebrate Pitt’s milestone 60th birthday with a low-key week. According to PEOPLE, Pitt opted for a subdued celebration, showing a significant commitment to De Ramon by choosing to spend his time with her after ushering in his sixth decade on Monday.
Last month, a source reportedly spoke to PEOPLE and characterized Ines de Ramon, the ex-wife of actor Paul Wesley, as “Brad’s first proper relationship since the divorce” from Angelina Jolie.
Evidently, the Troy star has begun introducing the 32-year-old as his girlfriend. An insider told PEOPLE, “He introduces [Ines] as his girlfriend. It’s great to see him in a good place. Ines makes him very happy.”
It has been a challenging journey for Pitt to find happiness again, especially considering the tumultuous end to his marriage with Angelina Jolie, a chapter that appears to have left enduring wounds.
Famously referred to as ‘Brangelina’ in the media, the A-listers initially fell in love on the set of “Mr. and Mrs. Smith,” captivating headlines worldwide.
However, in 2016, Jolie filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences. She also sought sole custody of their six children: Maddox, Pax, Shiloh, Zahara, Vivienne, and Knox. The divorce marked the conclusion of a once-highly publicized Hollywood power couple.
As of January 21, 2021, an email from Angelina Jolie to Brad Pitt has become public. In the email, Jolie writes with a “heavy heart” to inform Pitt of her decision to sell Miraval, a business centered around alcohol. This could be a subtle reference to a widely reported incident involving Pitt on a plane, where he was allegedly intoxicated and involved in an altercation with their children. The reports suggest that Pitt “choked” one of their children and “struck another in the face” before pouring alcohol on her and the kids.
As recently as October, Brad Pitt found his name in the headlines for a less-than-savory reason when an old Instagram story surfaced. In this story, his adopted son Pax labeled him a “f****ing awful human being.”
At the age of 16, Pax expressed his displeasure with his father and issued a warning: “the truth will come to light someday.”
Pax’s message was overlaid on an image of his father accepting the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor. The message read, “You time and time and again prove yourself to be a terrible and despicable person. You have no consideration or empathy toward your four youngest children who tremble in fear when in your presence.”
“You will never understand the damage you have done to my family because you’re incapable of doing so. You have made the lives of those closest to me a constant hell,” the teen continued. “You may tell yourself and the world whatever you want, but the truth will come to light someday.”
