Brad Pitt slams ex-wife Angelina Jolie over new demands in ongoing court battle

As their legal battle continues, Brad Pitt has taken aim at Angelina Jolie for her “intrusive” requests.

Pitt filed a lawsuit against Jolie in 2022 for selling off her share of a French winery they had jointly bought without getting his approval. Pitt filed a lawsuit to get Jolie’s stock transaction to Russian oligarch Stoli reversed.

Retaliating, Jolie said she was not guilty and that she didn’t need Pitt’s permission to close the deal.

After that, Stoli filed a $350 million countersuit, charging Pitt with embezzlement of business property. Pitt appropriately denied the allegations, which only served to amplify the barrage of derogatory remarks and allegations uttered by the actor, his ex-wife, and anyone connected to her.

Regarding the two court cases listed above As the couple’s argument is still ongoing, Pitt has moved to accuse Jolie of making “wide ranging and intrusive” demands.

According to court records that In Touch was able to get, Pitt is now accusing Jolie of requesting 54 different documents, all of which he claims have nothing to do with the ongoing lawsuits.

Readers may recall that earlier this year, Jolie claimed in court filings that Pitt had abused her during a 2016 flight from France to California, severely damaging Pitt’s reputation. The Tomb Raider actress said that Pitt had physically attacked two of their kids after “grabbing” her “by the head.”

According to In Touch, Jolie is now asking Pitt to disclose all of his private correspondence with his friends and business associates about the repulsive incident.

Pitt’s attorney attacked Jolie’s request for his client’s private conversations in a fresh move, calling it a “unnecessary motion practice” and a means of submitting “another public filing rife with personal attacks.”

In many instances, these private, third-party contacts have just the barest connection to “what happened on that plane,” and they are completely unrelated to the problems and accusations in this case, the speaker said.

Nevertheless, Jolie is determined to use this commercial disagreement as an opportunity to reopen the former couple’s divorce case, so she wants them nonetheless.
