Erika Kirk & TPUSA Share Touching Tribute to Charlie on What Would Have Been His 32nd Birthday

Remembering Conservative Influencer Charlie Kirk

September 10 marked an emotional day for many across the United States as family, friends, and supporters honored the life of Charlie Kirk on what would have been his 32nd birthday.

Kirk, a prominent conservative commentator and CEO of Turning Point USA, was tragically shot and killed while speaking on a college campus in Orem, Utah. His passing shook the conservative movement and prompted tributes nationwide.

Kirk co-founded Turning Point USA in 2012 with the goal of inspiring young people to embrace free speech and American values. According to the organization’s mission statement, Turning Point USA exists to “identify, educate, train, and organize students to promote the principles of freedom, free markets, and limited government.”

In the wake of his assassination, the Senate passed a resolution establishing a “National Day of Remembrance for Charlie Kirk”, set to take place on September 10 — his birthday.

“Mr. Kirk consistently promoted the values of individual liberty, open debate, the importance of civic engagement, and the defense of constitutional principles,” the resolution states.

Erika Kirk’s Emotional Message

To mark the day, Erika Kirk, Charlie’s widow, together with Turning Point USA, released a touching tribute video celebrating his life, legacy, and unwavering faith.

The video, captioned “Happy Birthday, Charlie,” is narrated by Erika and features personal clips of the couple and their two young children. Erika reflects on their once-in-a-lifetime love story and the strong family values Charlie lived by.

She also encouraged young people to pursue the same joy and fulfillment that Charlie found in his faith, family, and mission.
