Just ahead of Super Bowl LIX, President Trump surprises the guests in Florida
|Donald Trump is having an eventful Sunday, one that stands out even in his typically packed schedule.
Just ahead of the Super Bowl, the President did something surprising, having a round of golf alongside Tiger Woods at Trump International in West Palm Beach, Florida. Later in the afternoon, he will travel to New Orleans to attend Super Bowl LIX.
The connection between Trump and Woods has grown over the years, with Woods receiving the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2019 during Trump’s first term. Their shared enthusiasm for golf has led to multiple outings together, and today is no exception.
In addition to his golf game and Super Bowl appearance, Trump’s interview with Fox News Channel’s Bret Baier is scheduled to air at 3:00 p.m. ET. While every day in politics comes with its demands, this Sunday appears to be one of those rare occasions where business and leisure blend seamlessly.
President Trump really cares about Tiger Woods
Donald Trump extended his condolences to Tiger Woods following the passing of Woods’ mother, Kultida Woods, earlier this week. In a heartfelt message showing he really cares for his friend Tiger.
“I was just informed that Tiger Woods’ wonderful Mother, Kultida, passed away – She has gone onto greener fairways!” Trump wrote in a post. “Kultida Woods was an amazing influence on Tiger, and gave him much of his strength and brilliance. Melania and I send our love and prayers to Tiger and his incredible family!“
As for Woods’ plans, it remains uncertain whether he will attend the Super Bowl on Sunday evening.
