Matthew McConaughey’s Son Levi, 16, to Make Acting Debut in Way of the Warrior Kid Alongside Chris Pratt

The son of Matthew McConaughey is becoming just like his father.

Deadline revealed on Wednesday, September 4, that 16-year-old son of Interstellar actor Chris Pratt will be making his acting debut in the coming-of-age movie Way of the Warrior Kid, where he will play a supporting part opposite the 45-year-old star.

The teenager’s role in the Skydance and Apple movie, which is based on the Jocko Willink novel, has not been given any further information. Will Staples wrote the script and McG (Joseph McGinty Nichol) is the director of the future movie.

The 54-year-old Dallas Buyers Club star was seen spending time with Levi on the movie’s set on Friday, August 30, as his child started his acting career. Levi is dressed in blue pants, a navy T-shirt, and a red flannel for his first-ever acting part.

The father-son pair converse and stand off camera in the pictures. McConaughey is decked up on the sidelines in a brown trucker hat, brown sunglasses, a blue button-down shirt, and a headset around his neck.
