Shaq’s Generosity: Family of 11 Receives 2 Cars and a Shower of Kindness

Recently, Shaq once again showcased his incredible kindness by making life easier for a family of eleven. But he didn’t stop there.

The Collins Kids, a popular Instagram account with over 350,000 followers, is run by Karissa, a young mother of nine who often shares insights into family life. The former NBA star began connecting with them on Instagram, and at the start of the year, he even paid them a visit at their home. In a heartfelt post from January, Karissa described Shaq’s visit: ‘He came in and played “Watch ya mouth” with the kids, showered them with love, provided encouragement, entertainment, and gifts. He also offered words of encouragement to us as parents and just filled our hearts with love.’

Although the family may have thought that the surprises were over, Shaq had more in store for them. A few days ago, he reached out to them again, and they made plans to have dinner together as a family. Karissa shared their experience: ‘Last night we had a surprise visit from Shaq. He took us to dinner as a family at Babe’s Chicken. It was so much fun to just hang out and have dinner with him.’

But the surprises didn’t end there. The following day, Shaq took them to a local Mercedes dealership and ordered a brand new custom 15-passenger van for them, set to arrive in July. The family was overwhelmed by his generosity, and the children couldn’t stop hugging him.

And that’s not all. The family, accompanied by Shaq, had another dinner outing, where the joy he spread continued. Karissa shared more heartwarming moments: ‘He then took us to dinner at Rainforest Café, where he covered the entire meal for another table, not realizing they were from out of state and here on a mission. Afterward, he left a $1000 tip for our waitress, who had a car breakdown today.’

Shaquille’s generosity didn’t end there either. Upon learning that the father of nine had a truck with faulty air conditioning and heating, Shaq had yet another incredible idea. He took them to a Ford dealership and bought a new truck for the man. The family felt truly blessed and happy.

Beyond the monetary assistance, the most precious part of Shaq’s gesture was the time he spent with the family, engaging in meaningful conversations and imparting words of wisdom to the young children. Karissa emphasized, ‘He also spent time uplifting and loving our children, breathing life into our family.’
