However, one unexpected star stole the spotlight in this year’s commercials – a dog with a surprising connection to Hollywood celebrities. The canine sensation is none other than Roy Hawn Russell, the beloved pet of Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell.

The famous couple’s Labrador Retriever made his mark in the Budweiser Super Bowl spot titled “Old School Delivery.” The one-minute commercial depicts the iconic Budweiser Clydesdales navigating a snowstorm to make a beer delivery when they encounter difficulties. Enter Roy, the yellow lab, who leads the lost drivers to their destination.

The Budweiser commercial resonated well with audiences during the Super Bowl, particularly for featuring the beloved Clydesdales alongside a charming dog. The Russell-Hawn family celebrated this special moment, expressing their joy on social media.

Goldie Hawn took to Instagram to share their excitement, posting a video of the family enthusiastically cheering for Roy during his debut Super Bowl commercial. Kate Hudson, Hawn’s daughter, also shared a video from her watch party, capturing the energetic cheers for the family dog. Hudson humorously mentioned the many actors in their family but declared Roy as the true star of the night.

Hawn and Russell, known for their love of dogs, welcomed Roy into their pack in January 2021. The actress shared heartwarming photos of Roy as a puppy and later as a one-year-old before his newfound fame.
