Tom Cruise reveals the truth after speculation that he’s had cosmetic surgery

It’s remarkable that Tom Cruise is only 62 years old.

The action hero is remarkably young, and it seemed as though the legendary pilot had not aged since Top Gun: Maverick debuted on film.

However, the actor claims that no plastic surgery is necessary. What then is his secret?

Hollywood legend Tom Cruise recently turned 62, but he doesn’t seem to be slowing down. Rather, he’s more occupied than ever with new endeavors. His most recent audacious deed was at the Paris Olympic Games closing ceremony. Known for his high-arousal feats, Cruise astounded the audience by making a dramatic landing on the Stade de France’s arena floor after leaping from the building’s roof.

He didn’t stop there; he quickly rode off on a motorcycle after grabbing the Olympic flag. The presentation went on with a movie that showed Cruise jumping out of a plane and landing next to the famous Hollywood sign, which had Olympic rings on it as a tribute to Los Angeles hosting the Games in four years.

Fans of Cruise were not surprised by this audacious move. The actor, who loves thrills and athletics, is well-known for pulling off feats in his movies without the use of special effects. When he scaled the tallest skyscraper in the world in Dubai for Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, it was one of his riskiest scenes. Cruise has frequently stated that he developed an early affinity for stunts and that he feels that movies are more genuine when he performs all of the special effects himself.

“I was that young child.” I had my bike set up so I could jump over the trash cans as soon as I could ride it. I begin to descend the hill. My legs were unable to stay on the pedals because they were moving so quickly. The wood fractures in the middle. I feel as though I’m a rag doll soaring! In an Instagram interview, Cruise said, “I hear a child screaming.”

Although it may appear to viewers that Cruise is capable of anything when he is on screen, many may be unaware of the enormous amount of labor that goes into the production.

The 62-year-old celebrity must maintain optimal physical health in order to do these risky antics. Maintaining mental acuity is important, but so is being able to meet the demanding physical requirements of his roles.

Tom Cruise training routine

Men’s Health claims that Cruise works out five days a week, including cardio and weight training. The actor appears to stay busy in as many different capacities as possible after that.

Activities: rock climbing, trekking, sea kayaking, caving, fencing, treadmill, and weights. I walk a lot. I engage in a wide variety of things,” the 62-year-old stated to the publication in 2023.

Although he dislikes heavy lifting, other stories claim that Cruise may be found at the gym as early as 5:30 AM. But his workouts are reputed to be quite strenuous. Weighted lunges, deadlifts, and one-armed barbell presses are some of his go-to strength-training moves.

Cruise puts in a lot of work, as can be seen by looking at a normal workout week. He works on his shoulders, chest, and biceps on Day 1 of the program. Day 2 usually entails an enjoyable activity away from the gym. It’s back to the gym the next day for strength training activities like hammer curls and deadlifts. Day 4: He engages in yet another pastime. The Mission: Impossible star concentrates on strengthening his legs and lower body toward the end of the week.

Expert physical therapist Nick Lower, who keeps up with the most recent advancements in fitness science and technology, told GQ Magazine that Tom has the best crew in the world.

Tom trains diligently, according to Lower.

“I am aware that he makes use of this costly,Consequently, you may complete exactly as much work by performing a set of five rather than a set of ten. Whatever he does seems to be working. When you finally see him in person, he appears ten years younger.

Tom’s most recent pictures amply demonstrate his continued commitment to his exercise regimen. It was difficult to notice Tom Cruise’s enormous biceps while he was at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, watching Brazil and the United States compete for the women’s gold medal.

Tom Cruise diet

The Daily Mail claims that Cruise is also extremely picky about his diet, preferring to eat a variety of healthful foods.

Dark chocolate, blueberries, ginger, beets, broccoli, salmon, spinach, and raw oats are some of his favorite foods. These meals provide him with a variety of vital minerals and vitamins that keep him strong and energized.

Rather than consuming three substantial meals, he usually eats fifteen nutritious snacks during the day. He usually orders steamed white fish and veggies when he eats out, staying away from butter, sauces, and oil. Cruise is also renowned for never drinking alcohol and for always choosing non-alcoholic drinks instead.According to reports, the actor stays away from processed foods of any kind and high-sugar snacks. He rarely eats chocolate or chips; instead, he says that eating fruit helps him “reduce any anxiety.” His personal chef prepares the majority of his meals, which are usually cooked at moderate temperatures. This cooking technique improves the food’s flavor and moisture content without sacrificing any of its nutritious value.

All things considered, Tom has remained quite quiet about his diet while speaking with the media. He appears more giving, though, when sharing with his coworkers. Simon Pegg, his co-star, claims that Tom is “disciplined to a T.”

Pegg also disclosed that Tom gave the cast of the fifth Mission: Impossible movie the opportunity to have meals made by his personal chef.

It wasn’t similar to a protein smoothie or bland rabbit food. Pegg remarked to E!, “It was like these wonderful little truffle balls that were great, and these lovely little dates filled with peanut butter and sprinkled with coconut for snacks.”

Plastic surgery

Cruise has been in the spotlight for the most of his life, yet he hasn’t seemed to change. Everyone had hoped that good genes are the only factor at play.

However, as the four-time Oscar nominee got closer to reaching his late 40s, speculations regarding potential cosmetic changes surfaced. There was a lot of conjecture that the celebrity had undergone several operations, such as fillers, Botox, hair transplants, and rhinoplasty.

The New York Post sparked rumors about Cruise and his ex-wife, Katie Holmes, in 2009. The pair resided at the renowned Copacabana Palace while they were in Brazil promoting Tom’s movie Valkyrie. That being said, there were reports that they took a covert diversion to the private island owned by prominent plastic surgeon Dr. Ivo Pitanguy.

The fact that Tom, Katie, and their daughter Suri were seen eating on Pitanguy’s private island in Brazil’s Bay of Kings only served to fan the flames.

The infatuation with plastic surgery in Brazil is said to have begun with Dr. Ivo Pitanguy. There are rumors that he has operated on famous people, including Frank Sinatra, François Mitterrand, and Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis.

Tom has never shared his thoughts about his meeting with the renowned surgeon. Just one day before he carried the Olympic flame in his wheelchair ahead of the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, Dr. Ivo Pitanguy passed suddenly on August 6, 2016.

”Puffy appearance”

Cruise attracted the attention of photographers and the media at the 2016 BAFTA Awards once more. Soon after, tabloids began to make comments about his “unusually puffy appearance.” The owner of Harley Street Injectables, Alice Henshaw, was even consulted by the British publication The Sun. Henshaw claimed that Cruise’s “inflated” and “puffy” facial appearance indicated the usage of fillers.

“In 2016, Tom appeared to have undereye filler and filler surrounding his mouth and nasal labial fold,” the person claimed.

Alice Henshaw also addressed the notion that the actor of Top Gun had had a hair transplant. She claimed that Cruise’s appearance spoke to possible changes to his hairline in addition to the use of fillers.

“Tom’s hairline has stayed mostly the same at almost 60, though it is thinning slightly, which does suggest he may have had hair transplants,” the spokesperson stated.

Henshaw’s findings sparked more conjecture on the actor’s potential level of cosmetic surgery.

Possible “post-procedure swelling”

Cruise attracted attention during a LA Dodgers vs. San Francisco Giants game in 2021 once more. Cruise looked happy as she sat among the fans at Oracle Park, interacting with them, taking photographs, and giving other onlookers fist bumps.

Several people on social media noticed that he didn’t really look like him. Additionally, the tabloids focused on Cruise’s “puffy” appearance, which sparked fresh rumors about the Hollywood star undergoing cosmetic surgery.

In an interview with the Daily Mail, registered aesthetics nurse Dawn Attewell claimed that the game’s images displayed indications of “excessive filler” and potential “post-procedure swelling.”

This kind of swelling in these places is frequently brought on by surgical procedures like platysmal plasty, or neck lifts, in conjunction with mid-facelifts, according to Attewell.

When it comes to his appearance, Cruise has never really opened up, rarely mentioning whether or not he’s undergone cosmetic surgery. It makes perfect sense that the Mission Impossible star has kept a low profile on the topic.

Still, the rumors haven’t left him. He gave a succinct and straightforward response when asked if he had ever had any cosmetic treatments done in an interview with Playboy Magazine in 2012:

“I haven’t, and I never would.”
