Aaron Nichols Delivers A “Gritty” Country Performance

Bakersfield, California native Aaron Nichols stepped on stage with a raw, gravelly rendition of Chris Stapleton’s “Cold.” His raspy delivery and emotional depth immediately caught the attention of Reba McEntire, who turned her chair first and signaled her excitement with a thumbs-up.

Not long after, Michael Bublé and Snoop Dogg joined in, though it quickly became clear that Aaron’s heart leaned toward Reba.

Michael Bublé Predicts Reba’s Victory

In a rare moment on the show, Michael Bublé made a bold prediction — that Reba would win the entire season with Nichols on her team.

“Man, that voice, that gravel, that grittiness. Reba McEntire is going to win The Voice with this dude,” Bublé said, admitting he had to turn his chair even if the odds weren’t in his favor.

Niall Horan backed him up, adding: “There’s soul in there for days.”

Snoop Makes His Case, But Reba Wins

Snoop Dogg tried to leverage their shared California roots to sway Nichols, but it wasn’t enough. When it came time to choose, Nichols didn’t hesitate:

“My wife wouldn’t let me live it down if I didn’t pick Reba.”

That decision filled the final spot on Team Reba.

Reba’s Excitement For Her Team’s Final Addition

Closing out the auditions, Reba shared her excitement about Nichols’ addition:

“That gravelly voice, it’s very sexy and tough. I just love it.”

What’s Next On The Voice

With the Blind Auditions now complete, the Battles are next — where Reba’s new star Aaron Nichols could prove to be a game-changer. If Michael Bublé’s prediction holds true, fans may be watching the early rise of The Voice Season 28 champion.
