Drive down LA-1, and you’ll see his face on signs posted every few miles. At Benoit’s Country Meat Block—his family’s butcher shop, founded by his grandparents in 1982—customers are dropping by to ask about him, share stories, and offer support.
“The buzz started picking up in Addis, and everyone was so excited for him,” said John “Buddy” Foster Benoit Jr., Foster’s father. “When they aired his audition on TV, it took off.”
But the deepest support comes from his family.
“He has a heart like no other,” said Benoit. “I couldn’t be prouder.”
