Daniel Radcliffe and Partner Erin Darke Introduce Newborn in Heartwarming Photos

Daniel Radcliffe made a public appearance with his newborn baby, marking two months since becoming a father for the first time.

The 33-year-old Harry Potter star and his long-term partner, Erin Darke, 38, were seen in New York’s West Village on Father’s Day. Radcliffe was spotted carrying their child in a baby carrier during the outing.

The notoriously private couple has not disclosed the name or gender of their child, born in April. However, during the casual outing, the baby was seen wearing blue socks and a sage bucket hat.

The news of Darke’s pregnancy was only disclosed in March, eight months into her pregnancy, when paparazzi captured photos of the couple with Darke’s baby bump visible.

Radcliffe and Darke, who began dating in 2012, have maintained a low profile throughout their decade-long relationship. They have only made a few public appearances together, notably walking the red carpet at the premiere of The Lost City in March of the previous year.

Their baby was spotted wearing blue socks and a sage hat.

Daniel Radcliffe and Erin Darke first met on the set of the movie “Kill Your Darlings” in 2013, a film in which they shared a sex scene.

“It’ll be a hell of a story to tell our kids one day because of what our characters do with each other,” Daniel Radcliffe reminisced in an interview with People TV in April 2019.

“Our characters are meeting and flirting with each other, so there is this kind of sweet record of us just meeting for the first time and flirting.”

He also playfully remarked that there was “no acting going on” during the scene.

“Not from my end, anyway,” he told Playboy in October 2015, adding, “There’s a moment when she makes me laugh, and I’m laughing as me and not as my character. She was incredibly funny and smart. I knew I was in trouble.”

Erin Darke and Daniel Radcliffe have been in a relationship since 2012.

Radcliffe now joins his Harry Potter co-star Rupert Grint in the parenthood club. Grint welcomed a baby girl, Wednesday Grint, with his long-term partner Georgia Groome in 2020.

Despite their significant levels of fame, the main Harry Potter trio, including Emma Watson, have maintained boundaries around their personal lives.

Grint and Groome, both actors, have been together since 2011 but keep an extremely low profile and have never publicly spoken about their relationship.

As for Watson, she last starred in the 2019 film “Little Women” before taking a step back from acting and the public eye.

Rupert Grint, Emma Watson, and Daniel Radcliffe have successfully maintained a level of privacy around their personal lives.

Emma Watson, the British actress, took a break from social media for over a year until late 2021. Her Instagram bio during this period stated, “Emma’s official Instagram page is currently dormant and is not being updated.” Her agent further mentioned that the star “wasn’t taking on new commitments.”

In early 2021, reports surfaced that Watson was living in Europe with her then-boyfriend Leo Robinton, although they later split in the year.

After reuniting with her co-stars in the televised 20-year Harry Potter reunion special in 2022, Watson gradually re-entered the spotlight, returning to Instagram and public events. She also made headlines last month for ending her 18-month relationship with boyfriend Brandon Green.
