Meghan Markle Shares a Peek at Her Cozy Sunday Breakfast Routine with Her ‘Bestie’

Meghan Markle gave fans a cozy look into her Sunday morning — complete with a sweet twist on a classic breakfast dish.

The Duchess of Sussex, 43, shared a series of Instagram Stories on Sunday, March 23, showing her in the kitchen alongside one of her close friends, Kelly McKee Zajfen. In the first clip, Zajfen is seen assembling a breakfast treat made with banana slices, topped with what appears to be Meghan’s As Ever brand jam and a drizzle of honey.

“When one of your besties transforms a banana split into breakfast,” Meghan wrote over the video.

In the next clip, Meghan — dressed casually in a beige tank top and breezy white linen pants — stands next to Zajfen as they toast their forks and enjoy a bite. “So good!” Meghan says with a smile. She captioned it simply: “Happy Sunday!”

The final story featured a close-up of the elegant breakfast dish, tagging her lifestyle brand As Ever.

Meghan and Zajfen frequently show support for one another, especially when it comes to philanthropic work. In October 2024, Meghan accompanied Zajfen to the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles Gala, where Zajfen is a passionate advocate and serves as a heart ambassador.

Earlier in the year, Zajfen — who also co-founded Alliance of Moms, which supports teen moms and dads in foster care — posted a birthday tribute to Prince Harry on Instagram, highlighting the strength of their friendship.

“Harry and Meghan, you’ve been a beacon for our family — not only in your friendship but in the meaningful work you do through The Archewell Foundation,” she wrote. “Your dedication to community and compassion is truly inspiring.”

In the same month, Meghan and Harry also attended a charity event in memory of Zajfen’s late son, George, who passed away unexpectedly in 2022 from a viral infection at age 9.

Proceeds from the fundraiser — including donations from the Archewell Foundation — went toward providing foster youth with legal resources, protection, and support, honoring George’s legacy.

Most recently, Zajfen joined Meghan on her Netflix series With Love, Meghan for the heartwarming episode titled “Surprise and Delight.”
