Nicole Kidman Celebrates 17th Anniversary with Spouse Who Made Her an ‘Older’ Mom despite It Being Unlikely

Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman recently commemorated their 17th wedding anniversary.

Kidman experienced a painful divorce from Tom Cruise and later fell in love with Urban.

Despite being warned she wouldn’t be able to conceive, she bucked the odds and gave birth to a miraculous child.

Nicole Kidman, a versatile actress, and her spouse Keith Urban recently marked their 17th wedding anniversary, and they honored the occasion with a heartfelt Instagram post.
“Happy anniversary, my love,” was the message Kidman wrote on a beautiful snapshot she shared of herself and Urban staring into each other’s eyes.

Apart from being an amazing spouse, the actress shared an additional photo of Urban acting like a true father, having fun in the water with one of their daughters.

In a touching Father’s Day message, Kidman remarked that her husband was the “coolest dad there is” and shared how much their girls and she valued and loved him.

Kidman had a lengthy marriage with Tom Cruise that ended abruptly and caused her a great deal of heartache before she fell in love with Urban.

Among the power couples in Hollywood were Kidman and Cruise. When the “Top Gun” actor put her in “Days of Thunder,” one of his films, Kidman went head over heels. “I was totally smitten—I fell madly, passionately in love,” Kidman said.

From then on, the romantic whirlwind only grew more intense. The “Big Little Liars” star claimed they lived in denial and shut out the outside world in their own bubble, they started to rely on one another.

In addition, the couple had endured two miscarriages. Kidman disclosed that she experienced an ectopic pregnancy at the start of their relationship and miscarried at the end.

Kidman was informed after her ordeals that she had little possibility of becoming pregnant. For the actress, the entire ordeal was stressful, but the divorce compounded the hardship as she struggled to process the loss of her two failed babies. “I needed a very long time to recover,” She admitted, “It was a shock to my system.”

The actress made every effort to keep her marriage intact, but Cruise would not give up. In 2001, he filed for divorce, ending any chance of their reconciliation.

Although they did not have biological children together, Cruise and Kidman did adopt two children. Their son, Connor, was born in 1995, and their daughter, Isabella, arrived in 1992.

After the birth of their first daughter Sunday in 2008, Nashville took on a unique significance. Kidman’s life was completely turned around when she became pregnant with her daughter, even though she had never considered having children of her own. “It seemed like a miracle,” the actress said.

Kidman acknowledged that being pregnant at 40 was difficult for her, but she was willing to talk about it in order to reassure other women going through a similar thing that they weren’t alone.

Kidman exclaimed, “Having my baby has been a healing experience.” Faith was the couple’s second daughter, whom they welcomed into the family two years later through a surrogate.

For Kidman, having a family opened up new interests. She would organize weekly playdates with mothers and their kids when she wasn’t busy filming movies.

Kidman is concentrating on maintaining her health and enjoying a longer life now that her kids are getting older. She clarified, saying, “I want to be able to take care of them,” because she had an older child. Having children when you’re older involves a lot of that.

The actress doesn’t appear to be stopping, though. She continues to be one of Hollywood’s top actors, producing films, putting in a lot of effort, and being the greatest wife and mother she can be.
