Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden spotted on rare family outing with daughter Raddix, 4, and newborn son Cardinal
|Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden enjoyed some family time with their kids, Raddix and Cardinal, on Saturday.
The family of four was spotted enjoying a walk through their neighborhood in Santa Barbara, Calif. — a rare move for the actress, who typically keeps her personal life private and away from the spotlight.
The “Charlie’s Angels” star, 51, wore a loose fitting black T-shirt and a pair of matching black pants as she walked with a stroller carrying the couple’s newborn son.
The Good Charlotte rocker, 45, also wore a casual outfit, pairing a long-sleeved black sweatshirt with a pair of matching black shorts.
Madden accessorized his outfit with a green hat as he carried multiple white shopping bags in one hand and held his 4-year-old daughter’s hand with the other. He also carried Raddix’s purple backpack over his shoulder.
Raddix was photographed seemingly wearing Christmas pajamas, which she paired with some pink cowgirl boots.
Diaz and Madden, who tied the knot in 2015, announced they secretly welcomed their second child together in March.
“We are blessed and excited to announce the birth of our Son, Cardinal Madden❤️🙏 He is awesome and We are all so happy he is here!” the couple said in a joint Instagram post.
“For the kids safety and privacy we won’t be posting any pictures- but he’s a really cute,” the post continued. “We are feeling so blessed and grateful 🍀Sending much love from our fam to yours 🙏❤️Best wishes and Good Afternoon!! 🤘⚡️.”
The couple announced the birth of their daughter in January 2020.
In April, Diaz’ sister-in-law Nicole Richie — who shares 14-year-old son Sparrow with Benji’s twin brother, Joel Madden — responded to the actress’ name choice, chalking up the shared bird theme as “a twin thing.”
Though, she noted that she doesn’t believe her brother-in-law purposefully planned out the coincidence.
Joel, on the other hand, said he was surprised when he learned of his nephew’s name.
“We’re all very happy, though,” he added at the time.
