In her personal life, the actress caused a stir a few months ago with her highly publicized split from her actor husband, Joe Manganiello. It seems that Vergara is ready to turn the page, as rumors suggest she’s found love anew.

Last October, Vergara was photographed heading out to dinner with a handsome companion, Dr. Justin Saliman, an orthopedic surgeon. She was dressed in a black corset, purple suede pants, and black heels as they dined in Beverly Hills. While Vergara remained tight-lipped about the nature of their relationship, the sighting sparked speculation.

Dr. Justin Saliman, a Stanford-educated sports medicine specialist, cared for athletes from the San Francisco 49ers and Stanford during his studies. He earned his medical degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine and currently practices at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles.

In addition to his medical career, he is an inventor, credited with developing the NovoStitch Pro Meniscal Repair System, which was acquired by medical technology company Smith & Nephew for $105 million in 2019.

Regarding their relationship, sources reported that things were progressing well just a month after they were first seen together. Vergara appeared to be taking it slow.

Fast forward five months, and Vergara appears ready to publicly declare her love. She took to her Instagram story to share a picture of Dr. Saliman by her bedside following major knee surgery.

In the caption, she humorously expressed gratitude for having a handsome doctor who stayed with her that night and professed her love for him.

This revelation comes as a surprise from Vergara, who has kept her love life private since her divorce from Manganiello.

Just earlier this month, the divorce was finalized, officially making them both legally single.
