Bailey Zimmerman Leads Fans In Prayer After Medical Emergency at Country Fest Ohio
|Rising country star Bailey Zimmerman paused his performance at Country Fest Ohio to lead thousands of fans in prayer after a medical emergency occurred in the crowd.
The 25-year-old Illinois native was headlining the annual festival as part of his New To Country Tour, which includes 16 stops across the U.S. this summer. The event, held at Clay’s Resort Jellystone Park in North Lawrence, draws over 100,000 attendees each year and features some of the biggest names in country music — including Dierks Bentley, HARDY, Zach Top, and more.
Concert Moment Turns Serious
Zimmerman was midway through his set when a group of fans near the front began flashing their phone lights to get his attention. A person in the crowd had reportedly passed out and required medical assistance.
“Hey, let’s cut it real quick,” Zimmerman told his band, bringing the music to a stop.
In a video shared on TikTok, event staff can be seen assisting the individual, guiding them safely out of the crowd to receive care from medical personnel. The singer addressed the situation from the stage, saying:
“We take safety really, really seriously here, y’all. So we just want to make sure somebody’s alright over here.”

Once the fan was escorted to safety, Zimmerman again turned to the audience — not with a song, but with a prayer.
“God bless all y’all man, you guys stay safe out there alright,” he said. “If you guys wouldn’t mind, you guys want to do a quick prayer for everybody real quick?”
The crowd went silent as Zimmerman bowed his head and prayed aloud:
“Dear Lord, we are so grateful, we’re so grateful for your love and your grace. We’re so thankful for your son’s ultimate sacrifice to allow us to live within that grace and within that love and know that no matter what we do and who we are you love us, and you give us grace, and we’re just thankful for that. Thank you for all the people here. Thank you for Ohio, thank you, Lord, for Ohio. Man, just God bless all these people, I know they’re good people. So, man, it’s in your name we pray and play. Amen.”
The powerful moment has since gone viral on social media, with fans praising Zimmerman for his compassion and authenticity.
