Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi recently marked 20 years together after relocating abroad following Donald Trump’s re-election as President.

The former talk show host took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a heartfelt moment, posting a photo of herself gazing into her wife’s eyes against a breathtaking sunset.

“20 years together. Happy to be with you everywhere and always @portiaderossi,” DeGeneres captioned the touching image.

The couple appeared to be celebrating their milestone with an adventurous African getaway, as DeGeneres tagged the luxury safari company Singita and guided tour group Safarious in her post.

While their exact location remains unclear, Singita operates in South Africa, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, and Rwanda. They also tagged a South Africa-based guide known as Safari Dan, hinting at their possible whereabouts.

DeGeneres, 67, and de Rossi, 52, made headlines after leaving their Montecito, California, home and settling in the UK following Trump’s return to the White House.

In November 2024, sources told TMZ that the couple decided to “get the hell out” of the U.S. after feeling “very disillusioned” with Trump’s victory over Kamala Harris.

They now reside in a countryside estate in the Cotswolds, nearly two hours outside London. Reports suggest the duo had purchased the property even before the 2024 election.

Shortly after their move, they were spotted at a local UK pub called The Farmers Dog, where DeGeneres sported a new brunette hair color, making her almost unrecognizable from her signature blonde pixie cut.

DeGeneres and de Rossi are known for making grand gestures to celebrate their love. In 2023, they renewed their vows at their Montecito estate, with Kris Jenner officiating and Brandi Carlile performing. The star-studded guest list included Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.
